Certifications That Matter: TAG, Letaher, and VAAD

TAG (Technology Awareness Group) is a filtering service, not a certification authority. TAG installs commercial filter software on phones from their approved list. They work with filter companies like GenTech, Netspark, and MB Smart. The Wonder Phone is TAG-approved.
Letaher is a certification authority. Letaher reviews specific models and configurations and confirms they meet community standards. The Letaher of New Square serves Skver-affiliated communities and uses Meshimer as its filter partner.
VAAD refers to regional rabbinical councils that give local approval. Different communities lean on different VAADs. The Pom Cellphone, Pom Classic, and Tak S7 are VAAD certified.
