Does it work with Waze and Android Auto?

Yes. The Fig Bar works with Android Auto, so Waze directions and calls show up on your car’s screen. You can save your Home and Work addresses in Waze to start navigating with one tap.
Can I control who is able to text the phone?

Yes. The Whitelist setting, recommended for children’s phones, blocks all text messages except those from contacts you approve. It’s protected by a password, so only you can change it. You can also choose text-only, or allow or block group messages.
Can I type in Yiddish and Hebrew

Yes. The keypad types Yiddish, Hebrew and English and suggests whole words as you press the keys, so texting on real keys is quick. You can also switch to letter-by-letter typing for names and unusual spellings.
Does the Fig Bar have a Shabbat Mode?

Yes. Turn on Shabbat Mode and the phone goes silent every Friday before sunset, then starts ringing again on Saturday night, all by itself. You choose Silent or Vibrate and how early it starts: 15, 18, 20, 30, 40 or 50 minutes before sunset. It works the times out from your location, so it needs location permission and an internet connection.
What’s the advantage of a bar phone over a flip phone?

There’s no hinge. On a flip phone the hinge is usually the first thing to loosen or break. The Fig Bar is one solid body, so there’s less to go wrong, and it slips easily into any pocket.
